As well as managing the WSO workshops in the Greater Kruger Area, he has also delivered the WSO programmes in Botswana and Namibia, working with local communities living alongside Protected Areas.

Karabo’s ambition is to fly for conservation. She has already gained her pilots licence, thanks to help from the WSO Bursary Fund. Her next milestone is to gain her Commercial Licence.
"Through the lens, I am changing the narrative. I want to break ground in the world of aviation and photography and do things that no black female has ever done, inspiring young South Africans from disadvantaged backgrounds to follow their dreams".
Programme Assistant – Nathi Mdluli
Nathi experienced his first Wild Shots Outreach course for young job-seekers at Koru Camp in 2023. He has gone onto assist and lead workshops. Nathi also enjoys photo assignments, working with clients to tell their stories with his images.
"Wild Shots Outreach has really changed the way I think. I have also developed a love for conservation and gained a passion for wildlife. I like interacting with the Wild Shots Outreach students in the workshops. I get satisfaction from seeing them doing what they are taught and getting the best out of it. Their pictures are mind blowing.
"My dream is to take Wild Shots Outreach workshops in another country like Botswana or Namibia. Going out there and sharing our knowledge of photography and experience of conservation and also learning from them and their situation".
Programme Assistant – Vinolia Mashele
Previously unemployed, Vinolia is the latest former WSO student to become a Programme Assistant. Vinolia’s dream is to work as a chef on private charter yachts.
"I first did my Wild Shots Outreach course at Hluvukani in 2023. It meant a lot to me because it was my first time holding a camera and my first time going to a game drive - something I never thought I'd experience.
"I like assisting in WSO workshops so that I can get to see more of those smiles and faces full of excitement when people get to hold cameras for the first time and go on their first ever game drives to see their favourite animals that they've only seen on television .
"Wild Shots Outreach motivated me to want to do more in life. My dream is to inspire other young black girls like me to never let their background be their limit".
